Check out these cool 40k inspired mods in Space Engineers to give the Dark Gothic Battlefleet Gothic look to the verse. This awesome 3d Dreadnought model is by BlackArmor on Steam Made for creative. IMPORTANT: Do not copy and paste this walker Space Marine Dreadnought after you have started the walking sequence. This is one of the slowest Space Marine Dreadnought walkers I’ve made due to its short little leg design. I will update the walking sequence as I find ways to improve it. —————————————————————————————————————————— Description: In Warhammer 40K lore, the Dreadnought is essentially an armored sarcophagus for a mortally wounded Space Marine, allowing him to fight on even when his body has failed. Space Marine Dreadnought Space Engineers mod Features: – Fully automated walking sequence – Tortoise-like speed – 2 gatlings, 2 rockets and a drill to chew up enemies Walking tips: – Keep the Space Marine Dreadnought body PARALLEL to the ground. (Keep crosshairs lined up with artificial horizon) – Use gyroscope (mouse) to turn the Space Marine Dreadnought left and right. There is a version of the Dreadnought Castaferrum pattern which is simply called seige dreadnought, that uses a drill to get trough defences during seiges, and it still uses the same as the Space Engineers mod chassis. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Siege_Dreadnought More Space Marine Dreadnoughts here.
Another Great Warhammer 40k Space Marine Movie. I’m not sure if this qualifies as Machinima? This time they are fighting the green skin Space orks. One of my favorite races. At least they have the big junky gargants and orky robots to bot around with. Not simply is this fan-made short series really well edited and put together, it’s received an art style quite unlike anything you’ve seen before from the severe dark future of Warhammer 40k setting in a nice fan movie. Living by Richard Boylan, Helsreach is a multi-part version of Aaron Dembski-Bowden’s 2010 novel of the same name, which follows the exploits of the Dark Templar chapter of Space Marines as they battle to defend the Real planet of Armageddon (cheery name for an entire world, that) from an upcoming Ork invasion. You can really see the dark digital effects of the movie making For extra authenticity, Boylan’s series uses narration from the book’s audiobook release to propel the story, but you may be wondering what really sells it? The visual style this individual uses for the entire 40k space marine movie. It makes it seem like artwork ripped out of the pages of an old Warhammer rulebook as much as it does indeed an animated series, and gives the whole thing a stark aesthetic that almost makes it look like old film fishing reel footage of a war–even if it’s one between huge, power-armored increased humans and giant green orcs with guns the size of their meaty torsos. There’s a part 4 on the way soon, and after seeing these, I can’t wait
Erasmus Brosdau, an art overseer at Crysis developers Crytek, has been in business on a Warhammer 40K video clip (in his spare time! ) for the past 6 years. It’s now done, kind of, and really been well and truly worth the wait. Check out this awesome Warhammer 40k Machinima movie. It definately takes the dark atmosphere and delves into the lore of the whole 40k genre. I’m hopeing more Machinima Movies like this come out in the near future. Situated as a prologue for a wider story, this 9-minute video may well not have the world’s best tone of voice acting, but the fine art and animation is lightyears ahead of the previous official 40K animation, Ultramarines. And the way it puts us on a lawn floor of the universe, finding it come alive such as this… this is a view of the 40K world I would personally want to play through. The project “has the blessing” of Games Workshop, and over time grew from Brosdau’s sole work into a team effort. Although this short is being released now, a “final short movie” will be out the coming season completing the story.
Check out some of this cool Warhammer 40k Cosplay from the surrounding WEB 3.0 . Id like to see more Gothic looking cosplay maybe some dark eldar or sisters of battle cosplay in the warhammer 40k verse. Some Space Orks would be cool too. Need some Gargants or junky Ork Robots. You would probably need some kinda Industrial Light and Magic or Monster Shop Studio for this though. Just wait till the robots come into the lifestyle and these cosplay outfits are animated like the chat bots are starting to be with the virtual avatars. Practically every piece of Warhammer 40K cosplay you see is some kind of personal character, being all severe and gruff and shouting something about heresy. As a result it’s nice to see Russia’s Narga show the Eldar’s Howling Banshees some love instead.

Gothic Macro Cannons in Space Engineers | His Divinity on Steam Space Engineers just keeps getting better and better and it’s still in beta. All these new Warhammer 40k BattleFleet Gothic 3d models are awesome. They really make some nice replicas of the table into a 3d clone. His Divinity makes some of the coolest BattleFleet Gothic centric 3d mods on steam that I’ve seen. Very skilled 3d modeler and mod maker for Space Engineers. I really like the lines of the and Gothic feel. It gives a nice dark touch to Space Engineers and really invokes the intent of the Gothic sector in Warhammer 40k Now we have usable macro cannons from the Warhammer 40k Battlefleet Gothic Imperial fleet to clang around in Space Engineers. These are BA and would go excellent on the BFG Cruiser in Space Engineers for some broadside fun. Description from the author A Macro-cannon inspired by Battlefleet Gothic: armada and the Warhammer 40.000 universe. Fully working as a broadside cannon with a large range and decent reload time. Survival and conveyor ready. Its 2 blocks wide, 2 blocks thick and three high. It uses the standard missiles as ammo, to limit ammo-clutter. Check out more of His Divinity on Steam here.

Check Out This Warhammer 40k Battlefleet Gothic Inspired Corvette in Space Engineers I really like the floating Gothic Vatican look of Warhammer 40k, BattleFleet Gothic. Now in Warhammer 40k lore. These ships are kilometers long. With upwards of millions of servitors. This corvette is scaled down appropriately for space engineers and my current processing power( my computer starts choking even with this scale). I tried to stay with the general Gothic styling of the Warhammer 40k, Battlefleet Gothic metaverse. This is by no means a scale or even accurate replica. I took the general philosophy and styling of the imperial fleet ( dark Gothic ). I adapted it to the constraints of the Space Engineers modeling and physics engine. Apparently the excepted philosophy in imperial space warfare is to break up the enemy formation with front firing missiles or torpedoes. Then charge right through the middle and broadside. This design is an excellent brawler. The front heavy armored ram is several large grid blocks thick Certain variants of this Warhammer 40k Battlefleet Gothic Corvette are excellent battlers and can take several direct hits to the front armored ram. With the gravity cannon variant this Corvette can cut most ships in half with one burst up front. On each side are 3+ rocket pods for broadsidery. Along with the triple rocket pod turret up front for strafing. Inertial acceleration is adequate. Since the closest thing to void shields in Space Engineers are the gravity generators at this point. I have also been experimenting with gravity based ore shields for the design. This is still not survival ready. I have to model the interior and seal it up. Then I’ll put up this Warhammer 40k, BattleFleet Gothic inspired corvette on Steam. More to come.

Warhammer 40,000 Compendium, p. 28 Excerpt from the Liber Honorus Imperial Fists Chapter, Legiones Astartes During the righteous pacification of the heretical insurgence on Iduno, Lysander (at the time still a sergeant) bravely led his squad in the stubborn defence of the Colonial Bridge. For fourteen hours Lysander and his men held against wave after wave of attacks by the hateful rebels who had forsworn the glorious Emperor of Mankind for the False Glories of the Fallen Gods. Well versed in the Rites of Battle, Lysander guided his men surely and strongly, bringing the vengeance of the Emperor in volleys of controlled, effective bolter fire. When Lysander and the survivors of his squad were relieved, it took several hours to clear the corpses of the shadow-shrouded recreants so the bridge could be crossed.
